I express my determination that Rawalpindi Chamber will always represent the business community as per its tradition. We are aware of the fact that industry is lacking in this area. We will continue to struggle to achieve industrial expansion in the area in order to bring this region at par with the other developed Industrial areas of the country. The main purpose is to attract and lure the industrialists to invest in the industrial sector. It is need of the hour that the Government, Industrialists and business community jointly take steps for increase in exports. History of our half a century is a witness to the fact that Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been pleading the cause of the business community all along and has proved to be true representative of trading community. It goes to the credit of the Rawalpindi Chamber that it has been advocating for the promotion of exports and encouraging the exporters.
